Newslie Etienne is the manager and lead hair stylist behind NewsBeauty — Everett's premier protective style specialist and the driving force behind the NewsBeauty brand. She started with a simple but powerful conviction: every person who sits in her chair should leave feeling seen, styled, and confident.
What began as a passion for protective styling grew into a full beauty ecosystem. Today, NewsBeauty is a multi-service studio offering expert braiding, sew-ins, faux locs, cornrows, wig installs, a stocked beauty supply, and the NewsBeauty Makeup Class — a Sunday hands-on training program she designed for women who want to master professional techniques without attending beauty school.
Newslie works with every hair type, every texture, and every client who walks through the door at 306 Main Street in Everett. Her philosophy is straightforward: good work, real care, and no shortcuts.
