Newslie Etienne is the manager and lead hair stylist behind NewsBeauty — Everett's premier protective style specialist and the driving force behind the brand. She started with a simple conviction: every person who sits in her chair should leave feeling seen, styled, and confident.

What began as a passion for protective styling grew into a full beauty ecosystem. Today, NewsBeauty is a multi-service studio offering expert braiding, sew-ins, faux locs, cornrows, wig installs, a stocked beauty supply, and structured Sunday education programs designed for anyone wanting to master professional techniques.

Newslie works with every hair type, texture, and client walking through the door at 306 Main Street in Everett. Her philosophy is straightforward: good work, real care, and no shortcuts.
